Project Manager for Halmstad Municipality

Your Responsibilities

In the role of project manager, you will lead the work to develop and enhance the capacity for drinking water supply and sewage during crises and wars. You will be responsible for conducting gap analyses, strategic planning, and translating these into operational measures. This means you will drive projects that may include actions such as procurement, staff training, and implementation of governing documents and plans. You will collaborate with experts in security, operations technicians, and water and sewage technicians, as well as establish contacts with various departments and companies, primarily our water and sewage company, Laholmsbuktens VA AB. Your work will make a difference towards the goal of creating a robust organization that is ready when it truly matters.

We are looking for someone who is proactive, structured, and has the ability to translate theory into effective practice. You are communicative, adaptable, and have an easy time building trust and engagement with others. The role requires you to be persistent, solution-oriented, and have the courage to navigate complex organizations with a clear focus on results.

Requirements:
- Experience working on projects.

Meritorious:
- Experience leading projects.
- Relevant education in crisis preparedness, security, or similar fields.
- Experience working with critical infrastructure.
- Experience in politically governed operations.

About the Recruitment Process

After the application period has ended, we will review the applications and get back to you with feedback. If you meet the requirements, you will be given tests to complete, followed by a phone check-in, competency-based interview, and candidate meeting with union collaboration. We always check references for the final candidate.

Competency-based interviews are scheduled for week 6 and will take place digitally, with candidate meetings in week 7. Selection questions will replace personal letters in this recruitment.
